You have one song for waking up and other for going to sleep You have an acoustic guitar (and you have it since you the age of 14). Sometimes you want to die, but at the same time you're too lazy even to die. You started to listen music a little more seriously at the age of 13. venusor. You are really bad talking in front of an audience. I'm really glad I discovered this, and I'm excited to hear what this band does next. The first half is a bit better than the second, and I wish it was a longer release, but overall the writing is strong, and everyone on this is talented. It's a really fun listen if you like genre blending. Black Fellflower Stream is gruesome and layered, yet accessible and an absolute jam. One moment this album feels like The Cure, then the guitars feel like Ulcerate, then you catch a hint of Siouxsie and The Banshees, then you're hit with more devastating screams that sucker-punch you with delay. After another interlude, this time a baroque-ish bass piece sounding like 80s Metallica, the album finishes strong with all the best the album has to offer on Drippings of God, with creepy synth notes dancing right up to a slow, trippy, noisy gothic jam. Up next is Cruel Is The Joke, which also has a good ending but is overall a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the album. After a bit of a spooky but forgettable interlude, you're treated to some more of the new wave influence on My Father's Christian Humidor, which features a pretty cool guitar outro.

I Search for Gasoline features the best vocals of the album, and has several moments where the song wants you just to bask in the crazy effects his shouting is doused in. The first of the these, Oil Dream Field, starts off slow but doubles up the tempo soon enough and builds into a gruesome yet headbanging climax, fading into a haunting, low-bitrate synth ending like some of the beautiful synth parts on Oranssi Pazuzu's latest album. The next two tracks are the highlights of the album. On Warp of the Window, the bass and drums steal the show on some fun middle sections. As soon as the opening track Sunrise Labyrinthian softens up around the 2 minute mark, leaving just a satisfying gothic bass groove with some spacey synth and guitar textures, I realized this album was about to be more of a genre-bending experience than I expected. The album kicks off with a great four-song run. Then there's the jumpy punk basslines, gothic key and synth moments, and super engaged, reverberated drums that interplay nicely with the guitars, whose parts range from ringing, dissonant arpeggios, to chugging power chords, to jangly lead riffs that could be played on a psych rock album with a different pedalboard.

The vocals sit in the middle of the mix, drenched in trippy effects, with the performance sometimes violent like what you'd expect from a black metal album, but occasionally low and brooding like The Sisters of Mercy. Andrew Chugg - vocals Will Skarstad - guitar Sam Skarstad - guitar фанатская рецензия: Black Fellflower Stream is a fresh foray into gothic rock with a punk rhythm section and a fresh paint of black metal on top. Sunrise Patriot Motion (Beacon, ) - Black Fellflower Stream (2022) дебютный альбом.
